TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF ESTABLISHING DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN KAZAKHSTAN AND JAPAN. YOUNG KAZAKH MUSICIANS GAVE TWO CONCERTS IN TOKYO

Tokyo, April 28: Embassy of Kazakhstan in Japan in cooperation with Min-On Concert Association held a special concert of young and talented musicians of Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Japan. The concert was hosted on April 25 at the Hall of Classic Pianos and Harpsicords of Min-On Culture Center.

The folklore ensemble consisting of traditional Kazakh instruments dombra, kylkobyz, shankobyz, sazsyrnay, sybyzgy performed such compositions as “Ata Tolgauyi” (N.Tlendiyev), “Kishkentay” (S.Bayterekov), “Balbyraun” (Kurmangazy), etc. Famous songs “Mayra”, “Kerim Ahau”, “Sary Biday” and traditional dances “Akku”, “Kosalka” were presented to the audience.

Young musicians also gave on April 26 another concert at the Embassy’s Hall during the Nadeshiko-kai Meeting.

Soulful sounds of Kazakh traditional instruments, high skills of performers, their talents and warm atmosphere aroused great enthusiasm among the audience.

Visit of Academy’s musicians to Japan is one of the examples of deepening friendship and strengthening mutual understanding between Kazakhstani and Japanese people through cross-cultural exchanges.
