KAZAKHSTAN AND JAPAN LAUNCH ACADEMIC COOPERATION IN THE SPHERE OF ARTS

Tokyo, April 27: With the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Japan Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts visited Tokyo on April 23-27 to establish a cooperative relationship with leading Japanese Universities in the sphere of arts.

The Academy’s delegation led by Rector Arystanbek Muhamediuly had several meetings in Tokyo University of Arts, Musashino University of Arts and Kunitachi College of Music. Exchange of opinions between academic staff and students were held after observations of classes, galleries, museums, concert halls and workshops.

Leading professors of mentioned universities were invited to Kazakhstan to deepen mutual cooperation on academic level and to discuss details of possible joint projects.

Heads of Japanese Universities expressed their readiness to visit Kazakhstan in near future and to strengthen academic collaboration with Kazakhstan in the sphere of arts.
