SEMEY PHILHARMONIC ARTISTS GAVE A CONCERT IN TOKYO

 

 

 

Tokyo, June 7: Embassy of Kazakhstan in Japan with support of Minato City Administration and Minato International Association held a concert of Kazakh traditional and folk songs by Semey City Philharmonic artists at Akasaka Kumin Hall.

The Concert Program included such famous Kazakh songs as “Buldirgen”, “Aimay”, “Dudaray”, “Tugan El”, “Sary Biday” and many others. Japanese audience could listen to the sounds of traditional musical instruments Dombra, Zhetygen, Shankobyz as well as throat singing and Altay music live.   

The audience responded well to the performances of artists from East Kazakhstan giving standing ovations and requesting an encore.

In the lobby of the hall, Embassy of Kazakhstan presented a photo exhibition displaying history, culture, nature and economic development of Kazakhstan.
